Why does my boat need a cover?
The sun being stronger these days means that both your boat and you need to be protected from it. That’s why boat dealers such as Hunts Marine sell each boat with a canopy as standard. Canopies and Biminis protect you from the sun while you’re sitting around all day fishing or just cruising the bay. By adding clear side curtains or a front clear, you will also be protected from the cold and rain. When you get home at the end of the day the best way to protect your boat from fading under the sun is with an allover cover or a storm cover, which is also the best choice for towing. Basically, covers protect you and your boat from the elements to keep your investment looking good for years to come.
Is it true that you come to my boat?
Mobile Boat Covers comes to your boat at home, work, storage facility or marina, anywhere in the Sydney metro area. Our truck is fully equipped with all we need to manufacture your new cover in a quick and hassle free manner. Most covers can be made on the same day, with large cruisers and allover covers being the only exception.
Why is a custom cover better that a stock one?
Off the shelf boat covers such as those sold by marine accessory outlets are made to fit a wide variety of boats within a very limited size and design area. This means that an allover cover for example is not fitted to your boat in the way a custom cover is, which often means the stock covers will be baggy and collect water when it rains. The material used to make these types of covers is of poor quality and often breaks down in the sun within the first year. A custom boat cover is fitted to the exact shape of your boat in the way you want it to. All covers manufactured by us are made only with the best u.v. rated materials that are colourfast and shrink and mildew resistant. All materials used are backed by each manufactures warranty, usually 4 years, and generally last between 8 to 10 years. The frame work and fittings used to make each cover are also made locally to suit Australian conditions, all this adds up to you getting the best possible fit and finish that you can be sure will last for years to come.
